Festival FotoDoc 2025 Guest Lineup Revealed

FotoDoc – International Photography Festival celebrates its fourth edition in 2025 and will take place from November 4 to 8 at Panamericana School of Art and Design, in São Paulo (SP). Thanks to a partnership with the Consulate of the Netherlands, we will have the opportunity to welcome to Brazil the award-winning Dutch photographer Eddo Hartmann.

He will present his most recent series, The Zone of Sacrifice, which will also be featured in an exhibition. The work explores the consequences of a radioactive leak at a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, which resulted in the creation of a restricted-access zone. The images raise pressing reflections on the use of this energy source by a humanity increasingly thirsty for power and dependent on a transition beyond fossil fuels.

Also from the Netherlands, curator Yasemin Bagci will join us. Among the confirmed Brazilian guests are: Ana Carolina Fernandes, Érico Hiller, Fernando Banzi, Gustavo Minas, Ivana Debértolis, Marcelo Greco, Monica Maia, Monica Zarattini, Nilo Biazzetto Neto, Paulo Marcos de Mendonça Lima, Paulo Vitale, Sebá Reis, and Valdemir Cunha.
