Based in Mallorca, Spain, Javier García is a documentary photographer committed to recording the events and cultures that shape our history. With recognition from National Geographic, FIAP and PhotoEspaña, his portfolio includes coverage of the refugee crisis in Europe, the Ayotzinapa tragedy in Mexico, and the environmental impact of the La Palma eruption. His practice is currently centered on analyzing the threats to ethnic groups worldwide and the urgency of preserving their traditions. Javier uses both intimate portraiture and aerial drone perspectives to reveal the symbolic scale of the human experience.
