Chris Kraniotis

Christos Kraniotis was born in Mesolonghi 1983 and lives in Thessaloniki, Greece. With a master's degree in Cultural Management (HOU) and studies in Photography (SSP) and Social Theology (AUTH), since 2010 he is the founder of the Kristiboni School of Arts Thessaloniki (KSAT). In 2018, he was selected by the Athens School of Fine Arts to participate in the photography residency and workshop "Postcards from home" in collaboration with Photometria Photo Festival 2018. In 2022 self published the photo book "Without foundation" which was presented at: - Athens Artbook Fair 2023, - Off Bratislava Festival 2023, - Sikinos Island Zine Exhibition 2024, while in September- October 2024, he was selected by the 4th Verona International Photography Festival to present part of this photographic work at Lazaretto curated by Sara Munari and Lisangela Perigozzo.
A year before, September 2023, he was selected and awarded by the Capri Foundation for the Capri Photography Festival 2023 entitled "Questa è la mia terra". The festival followed a publication of the participants. Both Festival and the Photobook edited by Dennis Curti. He has held four solo exhibitions and his work has been exhibited in several group exhibitions in cultural spaces and galleries in Greece, Italy, Czech Reppublic, Slovakia, Serbia, Melburne etc. His image “Certain Time” was selected for the publication “We all felt the sun”, edited by Jenna Banks and Amanda McHardy, Stupid Idiot Press, Washington D.C. 2024. Latest exhibitions: “Broken forms”, Millepiani Co Working Space, Rome Italy, November 2024, “En Route” at Konak of princess Ljubica organized of the Museum of the City of Belgrade, curated by Marija Radic Stosic, April 2024,
“Colletivo Veneziano” at Gallery Kunst Depot Venice, curated by Fabbio Cavessago, March 2024. Finally, Chris Kraniotis has been announced as one of the participants in the:
