Geralyn Shukwit

Geralyn Shukwit is a photographer and artist whose work explores the relationship between people and the environmental landscape. Her long-term photography projects span from New York to Brazil, where she intimately reveals these connections through her approach of blending documentary and fine art photography.
Geralyn’s photographs have been exhibited in the United States, Brazil, Spain and Ethiopia; published in National Geographic, Progresso Fotografico Italy, BIG Magazine, New York Daily News and Post. She is a winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award, Photolucida Critical Mass Top 50, AI/AP Latin American Fotografîa, APA/NY and International Photography Awards (IPA) and was nominated for the Henri Cartier-Bresson Award.
