At a time when we are inundated with images, I would like to invite you to pause for a moment of contemplation. No editing, no staging: I try to blend into the background and capture moments from the lives of strangers, encountered by chance during urban wanderings. I’ve been practicing analog photography for 10 years. My impossible pursuit is, in the words of Jean-Christophe Bailly, to “grasp the unknown within the known.” To me, the magic of a photograph happens when the unexpected enters the frame.
