Toprak Shams

Toprak Shams was born on March 4, 1994, in Istanbul. Their photographic work has been published in a wide range of magazines and anthologies across the United States, Germany, Spain, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Australia, Iran, France, Nepal, Sweden, Canada, Turkey, Poland, and the Netherlands. Their artist book “Nelumbo”, featuring both digital and analog photographs, has been published internationally in Brazil, Mexico, India, the United States, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Australia, France, Sweden, Canada, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Ireland. The book was also exhibited in Austria at the Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair 2026.
