The deadline to enter the FotoDoc Photo Contest 2025<\/strong><\/a> has been extended until July 13<\/strong>. This gives photographers additional time to participate in the open call, which aims to highlight outstanding work in the contemporary photography scene.<\/h3>\n

The contest includes three categories: Single Image<\/strong>, Photo Essay<\/strong>, and Portfolio<\/strong>. Submissions are free of charge. After review by the festival\u2019s curators, selected entries are published along with a photographer profile, following a publication fee of USD 29.<\/h4>\n

All proceeds go toward compensating collaborators, covering operational costs, and investing in promotional efforts.<\/h4>\n

Winners Will Be Exhibited at the FotoDoc Festival 2025<\/h2>\n

Once submissions close, all selected and published works<\/a> will be re-evaluated by the FotoDoc Festival curators, who will select 60 finalists: 30 Highlighted Images, 21 Photo Essays, and 9 Portfolios. A five-member jury will meet in person in S\u00e3o Paulo to evaluate the finalists and choose 25 winners: 15 Highlighted Images, 7 Photo Essays, and 3 Portfolios.<\/h3>\n

The jury will also select a Grand Prize Winner from among the three Portfolio winners. The recipient will be awarded a specially designed FotoDoc Photo Contest 2025 Trophy<\/strong>, along with airfare and accommodation in S\u00e3o Paulo<\/strong> to attend the festival as a guest.<\/h4>\n

Finalist works will be featured in the official festival catalogue, and all winners will be part of a featured exhibition at the FotoDoc Festival 2025<\/strong>, scheduled to take place from November 4 to 8 at the Panamericana School of Art and Design in S\u00e3o Paulo. The exhibitions will remain open through January 10, 2026.<\/h4>\n
