“empty nest” reflects on the cycles of life, transformation, and enduring bonds. Through poetic double exposures and intimate staged scenes, the series explores the passage from one stage to another: how we change, yet nothing truly disappears, only shifts in form… Nature frames this journey, offering solace, continuity, and reflection on where we come from and where we are going…<\/h4>\n

The series also examines friendship and intergenerational connections: two women navigate absence, reading letters to their sons, holding one another, and tracing personal histories, like the letter from my mother I see in the mirror from the day I left Georgia for Germany. Empty Nest is a meditation on care, loss, memory, and renewal, inviting the viewer to experience transformation as a space of intimacy and hope.<\/p>\n
