Filippo Poli

Filippo Poli is a photographer and architect. He graduated with honors in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan, holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the UPC in Barcelona, and completed a Master’s in Photography at PhotoEspaña with a scholarship.
Since 2008, he has worked professionally in photography, collaborating with architecture studios and publishing houses. His work has been featured in specialized magazines and books across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
His visual focus centers on the cultural landscape and the relationship between humans and Nature—and the consequences of that interaction.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including: finalist for the Fundación Enaire Award 2025 and winner in 2017; winner of the 5th National Contest for New Photographic Creation Expositivos; finalist in the Prix Revelation of Saif Kabine at Arles Off 2025; selected for the ArtPhotoBCN 2025 portfolio reviews; first prize in the Architecture Photography Master Prize 2021 (interiors); honorable mentions in the IPA Prize 2017 and the Monochrome Awards 2015; third prize at PX3 Paris 2014; and first prize at ArchTriumph 2012, among others.
His work has been exhibited in events and group shows such as PhotoEspaña (Madrid, 2017 and 2025), Sala Palacín (León, 2025), Dispara (Pontevedra, 2025), Comune di Piombino (Ministry of Culture of Italy, 2023), Museo Mudec (2022, Perimetro, Milan), the 2019 Climate Summit, ARCO 2018, Deutsches Architekturmuseum and Fundación Vila Casas (2017), Architettura Sintattica (Milan, 2015), the Venice Biennale (2014), and at the Naves de Gamazo (Santander, Fundación Enaire, permanent collection).
His photographs are part of both public and private collections, including those of Fundación Enaire, the City Council of León, the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt, and the Basho Gallery in the United States.
