Moana Canu

Moana Battista Canu Spada (b. 2000) graduated summa cum laude in July 2023 with a degree in New Technologies of Art from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari, where she is currently completing her final year of a specialized two-year Master’s program in Photography. In 2024, she also obtained a Continuing Education Certificate in Photography from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design).

In 2024, she won two major photography awards: the Vallisneri Photo Contest with her work "L’impronta distruttiva" (The Destructive Footprint) and the Bari Photo Contest with "Bocca di Rosa" (Rose’s Mouth). In 2025, she won the Porte Aperte Festival award with her project "Ci vuole un fiore" (It Takes a Flower). Between 2024 and 2025, she participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, presenting her work across diverse cultural and artistic contexts, solidifying her path in contemporary photography.
